Mother's Day Date: Beef Wellington

In this hands-on class, you and your cooking partner will work side by side to create an elegant Beef Wellington from start to finish — a classic dish that’s as impressive as it is delicious.
You’ll begin by making your dessert! This Lemon Posset is a simple but delicious British classic. It's an eggless custard that comes together in minutes, then chills, before being topped with Shortbread Cookie Crumbles.
Then it’s on to the main event... Filet Mignon Beef Wellington w/ Red Wine Demi Glace. Chef will walk you through building deep flavor with a Mushroom Duxelles, wrapping everything in Prosciutto and Puff Pastry, and baking it to golden perfection.
To complete the meal, you’ll prepare Stovetop Fondant Potatoes, lightly crisp on the outside and buttery-tender inside, and Black Pepper & Pecorino Roasted Asparagus, a bold, savory side that pairs beautifully with the richness of the Wellington.
**NOTE** Our chefs will sear and chill your steaks before you arrive, the only way to consistently achieve the perfect cook when making Beef Wellington. We will cook all steaks to Medium Rare. If you prefer a different steak temperature, please contact us when you sign up so we can plan and prepare accordingly.

All sales are final. A minimum 48-hour notice via email (info@thelearningkitchen.com) is required for class rescheduling. A minimum 7-day notice via phone or in-person is required for class cancellations or rescheduling for reservation of four or more guests. If you are unable to attend a class, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. We cannot make exceptions.
Our recipes use common ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction we should be aware of, please call or email before attending the class. We may or may not be able to accommodate.
