Mom/Dad & Me Homemade Chinese Orange Chicken & Fried Rice

Craving Chinese takeout? Gather the family and join us to recreate a beloved favorite—Orange Chicken with Fried Rice—all from scratch!
This interactive class is designed for at least one parent and one child, with the option for additional parents and children to attend. Each participant will have their own cooktop, cooking station, and set of ingredients to prepare the entire meal themselves. Parents and children will be placed side by side, making it a fun and collaborative experience for the whole family.
Begin with a refreshing Salad topped with a Carrot Ginger Dressing that’s a kid-approved favorite. Then, move on to crafting crispy, lightly breaded Orange Chicken coated in a perfectly balanced sweet-and-tangy homemade sauce. Finish the meal by making fluffy, flavor-packed Egg Fried Rice entirely from scratch.
By the end of class, you’ll have a new set of skills, a delicious meal to enjoy, and the confidence to recreate these takeout classics at home—better, healthier, and more fun!

Pricing is per person. Reserve one Attendance for each adult (not necessarily a "parent") and one for each child attending. This class is designed for any combination of adults and children attending together. Each person cooks side by side at their own cook station. Minimum Age is 8 years old.
All sales are final. A minimum 48-hour notice via email (info@thelearningkitchen.com) is required for class rescheduling. A minimum 7-day notice via phone or in-person is required for class cancellations or rescheduling for reservation of four or more guests. If you are unable to attend a class, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. We cannot make exceptions.
Our recipes use common ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction we should be aware of, please call or email before attending the class. We may or may not be able to accommodate.
