Chef Instructor: Tiffany Metz
Tiffany has been pickling and preserving food since her childhood learning from both her mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her time spent in the kitchen with them so much that she continues these traditions to this day with her own son. Tiffany maintains her own garden in Indiana where she grows most of the items she pickles and cans. She is happy to be able to pass on the things that she has learned and hoped that she can teach the joy of home canning to many others.
Our recipes use common ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction we should be aware of, please call or email before attending the class.
