Vegetarian Class: Eggplant Parmesan & Strawberry Shortcake
What's better than Eggplant Parm? Not much. In this class you'll make a savory tomato sauce from scratch as well as breaded and pan-fried eggplant crisped to a perfect golden brown. Then, you'll assemble your Eggplant Parmesan by layering the buttery noodles, crispy eggplant, mozzarella, salty umami Parmigiana Reggiano, and finally topping it with fresh minced parsley. Ooh la la. It will be delicious.
The meal isn't over though, because you'll also make a fresh buttery shortcake and while its in the oven you'll make macerated strawberries and whip up homemade whipped cream to top it all off.
One thing's for sure, you won't go home hungry!

All sales are final. A minimum 48-hour notice via email (info@thelearningkitchen.com) is required for class rescheduling. A minimum 7-day notice via phone or in-person is required for class cancellations or rescheduling for reservation of four or more guests. If you are unable to attend a class, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. We cannot make exceptions.
Our recipes use common ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction we should be aware of, please call or email before attending the class. We may or may not be able to accommodate.
