This meal is inspired by the bento boxes of Japan, because they are very well rounded and tasty meals. Miso (deeply umami japanese bean paste) marination is a bit of magic that you'll start translating to more than just chicken!
You'll start with an iceberg lettuce and cucumber salad with carrot ginger dressing, just like you get at any sushi or hibachi restaurant, so fresh and bright. Next, you will learn about the magic of miso marination, why it makes your chicken taste so good, and what else you can use it on. You will bread the chicken and pan fry for a crispy texture, and saute some garlicky buttery edamame to go along side. All of this will be served with fried rice.
