Parent-Child Date: Homemade Chinese Orange Chicken & Fried Rice

While Orange Chicken isn't exactly what you think of when you think of "authentic" Chinese food, it is absolutely delicious! In this fun, hands-on class, we’ll show you how to make your favorite American-style Chinese takeout dishes right at home (and spoiler alert: they’ll be way better than the stuff that comes in the little paper box).

You’ll start with crispy, golden Egg Rolls stuffed with a savory pork and veggie filling and served with a sweet chili dipping sauce that’ll have you wondering why you ever bought the bottled stuff.

Then it’s on to Orange Chicken—juicy bites of crispy fried chicken tossed in a tangy-sweet orange glaze that’s bold, zippy, and finger-licking good. And of course, no takeout night is complete without Fried Rice, so we’ll stir up a garlicky and green oniony Egg Fried Rice to round out the meal.

So grab your chopsticks—or fork, we won’t judge—and get ready for a night of crispy, saucy, and downright craveable comfort food.

A minimum 7-day notice via phone or in-person is required for class cancellations or rescheduling for reservation of four or more guests. If you are unable to attend a class, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. We cannot make exceptions.

Our recipes use common ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction we should be aware of, please call or email before attending the class. We may or may not be able to accommodate.
