Date Night: Spanish Paella

We're making authentic Spanish Paella with the classic flavors and aromas of saffron and perfectly crispy toasted bomba rice served right in the pan. Chorizo and Shrimp are the stars of the show, but this dish has a little bit of everything; savory & tender rice with a crispy bottom, flavorful chorizo, tender shrimp, and bright fresh lemon and herbs to top it all off. Served with a side of Green Beans w/ Lemon Vinaigrette.

We start the meal with a simple but delicious appetizer, a play on Pan con Tomate, the Spanish cousin of bruschetta with Roasted Tomato, Olives, and Garlic. It's the easiest thing in the world to make, with an amazing flavor.

Paella is really a meal in and of itself, but we like to go a little over the top here, so we will finish off the meal with another popular Spanish dish, Crema Catalana, the Spanish version of Creme Brulee flavored with a hint of cinnamon, orange, and lemon. You'll finish by topping it with sugar and torching it to make that delicious crunchy toasted caramel-y shell. Incredibly delicious!

A minimum 7-day notice via email is required for rescheduling reservations of four or more guests. If you are unable to attend a class, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. We cannot make exceptions.

Our recipes use common ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction we should be aware of, please call or email before attending class. We may or may not be able to accommodate.
