Classes at The Learning Kitchen: About The Learning Kitchen: Our classes are fun, interactive, and hands-on — perfect for beginners or experienced cooks. Everyone cooks their own meal from start to finish. Most classes are for adults 16 and up, but we also offer options for kids and families.


Date Night Classes: Date Night classes are for two adults who share a cooktop and make a full meal together. It’s great for couples, friends, or even a parent and adult child. Guests must be 21 or older, and the price covers both people.

Kids Classes: We offer Kids Classes and Parent-Child classes for children ages 8 to 16. 

Classes for parent and children: We offer Kids Classes and Parent-Child classes for children ages 8 to 16. In Parent-Child classes, one adult and one child share a cooktop. In 'Mom/Dad & Me' classes, each person cooks at their own station.

Minimum age for children: 8 years old is the minimum age for kids and children. Younger children may not be able to reach the cooktops and not have a great experience.

classes cost: Class prices vary based on ingredients and format. You can register and pay online using our class calendar, by calling us or stopping by our store. Our classes can be found at on the class calendar page of our website.

When is the calendar posted? When is a new calendar posted?: We always display the current and next month’s classes. A new month is posted on the 15th of each month. Our class calendar can be found at on the class calendar page of our website.

Cancellation policy? : We require 48 hours' notice to reschedule for up to 3 guests, or 7 days for 4 or more. Summer camps require 14 days. If you can't attend, you can send someone in your place or request a waitlist transfer. Request to cancel must be made by email.

What if you cancel a class: If we cancel for any reason, including weather, we’ll contact you and issue a full credit or reschedule the class.

Do you offer drinks: We offer wine, beer, iced tea, and soft drinks for purchase during most classes. Water is always available. Alcohol is not included in the class price and is only served to guests 21 or older.
bring my own bottle: No. We offer a good selection of wine and craft beer.

What do I wear to class: Please wear closed-toe shoes — no heels. We’ll provide an apron.

When should I arrive for class: Arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in, choose your station, and get a drink. 

What should I bring with me to class?: You only need to bring your appetite - we provide everything else.

Do you sell things used in class?: Almost everything used in class is available in our boutique. Guests get a special discount the day of class.”
