From the inception of The Learning Kitchen in 2008, our vision was to create cooking classes that stood out in the Cincinnati, OH region. Every month, we curate a class schedule designed to cater to culinary enthusiasts of every skill level, emphasizing the use of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.Beyond traditional culinary staples like homemade pasta and classic French cooking, we also offer classes that explore current food trends, including the exploration of Asian cuisines, pickling, canning and fermentation techniques, and global street foods, offering our students a taste of culinary diversity and innovation.
Hands-On Cooking Classes
Our hands-on classes are truly hands-on, you'll cook at your own cooktop and eat all you cook...no group cooking here!Designed with our educational cooking classes in mind, both of our state-of-the-art kitchens cater to all skill levels. Whether you're an experienced chef, a home cook, or someone new to cooking, our classes are structured to boost your confidence and culinary skills. Every participant is provided with a personal cooking station, equipped with two induction burners, and all the essential pots, pans, and tools needed to prepare the day's menu.
Our teaching chefs don't just tell you how to cook, you actually learn the techniques and recipes by cooking your own meal. From chopping the onion to sautéing the chicken to kneading the dough, you'll get to do it all—which really is the best way to learn. When the meal is complete, everyone gathers around the dining tables to enjoy what they've created. All students receive digital copies of the day's recipes. We encourage you to build your own digital library of TLK recipes to enjoy making your favorite meals for years to come.

Cooking classes at The Learning Kitchen go beyond the art of cooking; they're a vibrant space where friendships blossom and communities unite. It's not uncommon for guests to start a class as strangers and, by the end, find themselves embarking on new friendships, often returning to take more classes together.
